We are very sorry to announce that we feel Vintage Country Rose has come to the end of an era. We have however started over with a new blog sharing our passions such as photography, travelling , fashion and interior but expanding it perhaps beyond the vintage world. Spring is here and I'm so excited! This winter has gone on long enough, it's time to ditch the winter woollies and grab onto that cute spring jacket. 

Spring is seen as the season of new starts, new life and beauty. It is a time to be one with nature and appreciate its pure grace. I picked the photo shoot that best expressed all these qualities. Spring is a burst of new life, not just literally but for everyone, it is a time to start fresh. In this way our models found the joy of Spring and explored a fresh new romantic pathway.

Get this relaxed smart look quick and easy. 

Mini Portfolio 

Hair: Swept back in a casual,everyday fresh style.

Signature piece: Vintage waist coat with thin pastel gingham pattern. 

Clothing: Plain pastel or white t.shirt with casual dominating coloured trousers to add a splash of subtle colour. 

Accessories: Matching black watch, belt and shoes adding the sophistication factor to this look.

ALTERNATIVE LOOK

Dive in at the deep end and go for a boulder signature piece. Play with the different gingham styles. Work your basic under-layer clothing accordingly.

Makeup: Emphasis on eye makeup focusing on the blue pallet. Example:

Glossy but nude lips, natural foundation, natural blusher emphasising cheek bones.

Hair: Relaxed side plait, possibly tied with flower hairband to add the extra cute blossom.

Signature piece: Pastel blue flowing dress with a tie strap accentuating the waist.

Clothing: If you wanted to add a jacket to this look, you could: stay neutral with the dress OR go all out with a patterned spring piece.

Accessories: Flower tie and plain neutral shoes OR cute pastel high heals to add some sophistication to the look.

Why should us girls just follow the Vintage trends set by Woman? This year, dare to follow some man trends? You won't be alone!

This year, one of the latest trends, is following Vintage Male fashion ideas,and re-designing them for women to wear. Some of the most stylish trends , such as The Trouser Suit and Army Jackets, are tradditionally worn by men. The Fashion indistry has set out to change that this year. Woohoo! :)

My latest Craze

Rings !

I have always liked rings , but lately every ring i see i MUST buy! So i think that means they are my latest craze. My favorite ring , that i wear all of the time , is a pink flower , with gold ribbon design around it .It is stunningly beautiful .I always get compliments when i wear it , and my best friends always try and wear it .It must be my favorite buy from Topshop ever.

But lately I have become a major fan of Bohemian rings lately , i saw them first on Stumble Upon, which is a supremely awesome website , and no i havent been payed to talk about it. Bohemian rings can never go out of style , so elegant and gracefully beautiful , with a hint of quirk and fun : I just cant help but love them to pieces nowadays. And I really want one. Anyone can pull off a bohemian ring , and it can turn them into a natural graceful goddess. As you can tell I have just fallen head over heals for them .

You may be thinking , CountryRose , your going a bit insane , its winter , how can you wear bohemian rings , they are summery right?  Why not start a new trend ? Bringing in the elegant crystal designed rings into the winter? I say go full steam ahead with these beautiful rings.Bring on the cute rings .

Colors for these rings this season? Emerald green of course! The color set to rock the new year! Dont believe me ? Google it lovely , Emerald is set to be the new craze .But right now , my craze , is rings
